  • How “Dark City” Got It Right

There’s some recent talk on the web of another Matrix sequel. Given the disappointing conclusion to the series, its not surprising that the Wachowski brothers wanted another chance to get the story right. But there was another ground breaking movie that came out a year earlier before the first Matrix movie. A film that didn’t bow to familiar tropes at the story’s conclusion. (more…)

All men are equal in her eyes or so they say
She gets closer with the passing of everyday

I grew up hard and I grew up mean
Shot my first man at age seventeen
From my holster I drew my gun
Pulled the trigger, his life was done

  • “The Embrace” By Alex Ruiz

Running across the work of Alex Ruiz was quite the discovery. “The Embrace” is an incredible piece of art. Jack Skellington and Sally have never looked creepier.
